Our core expertise focuses on the integration of Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Stash, Bamboo, Hipchat and open source tools such as Sonar and Birt and we configure these to the needs of our customers.

Due to the nature of our work, we build long standing relationships with our customers, and help them to succeed in their product development.

Job Description

This job envelops following activities

  • Release management consultancy

    You will inspire, coach and advice our customers around product development methodologies. Together with the customers you will establish the release management processes, and translate these into the design and implementation of a customized release management platform.

  • Project management

    The development and the delivery of a release management platform is a project with well documented milestones and deliverables. As project responsible you will be responsible to ensure that this project stays on track and reaches its objectives and communicate its progress to our customers.

  • Technical Account management

    We have long-term relations with our customers, and as a technical account manager you will be responsible to keep track of their needs, and ensure these are being met in a timely manner.

Desired Skills and Experience

Environment

  • Platforms: Linux, Windows, Virtualization, VMWare, Cloud Computing, Mobile
  • Applications: Understanding of Issue trackers, wikis, continuous integration servers, source code control systems (GIT, Svn, ...)
  • Development: Java, Maven, Gradle, Scripting
  • Concepts: Agile development methodologies, Configuration management, Devops, Business process modelling

Qualifications

  • Master degree in computer sciences and/or similar through experience
  • 2 years hands-on experience with managing RLM teams.
  • Excellent written/oral communication & interpersonal skills, including meeting facilitation.
  • You know what it takes to develop a product
  • Unit testing, continuous deployment, agile development methodologies, branch on purpose, build systems are not alien concepts
  • You understand release management, quality assurance, project management, product portfolio, P&L and team management
  • You got a good knowledge of java development,
  • You still create a java application once in a while just for the fun of it.
  • Communicative skills as you will work with many customers
  • A typical assignment takes a couple of days.
  • You are analytical, creative and results driven
  • You have the ability to solve problems and work independently with minimal oversight.
  • You do speak and write fluently English, Dutch and optionally French.

Pluses

  • JIRA power user / administration.
  • Knowledge of Confluence, Bamboo, Stash or any other Atlassian tool.
