Job Description

As an Atlassian Systems Engineer you will be responsible for

• Assisting our release management consultants to deliver the technical implementation of customer configurations
• The installation, maintenance and integration of complex Atlassian based infrastructure

Your day-to-day job consists of a wide range of activities such as

• Deployment and upgrade of Operating and Database systems
• Configuration of firewalls, reverse proxies
• Upgrade of the Atlassian environments
• Performance issue analysis and resolutions

Desired Skills and Experience

• System engineering skills around various OS’s, mainly Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Redhat), Windows,
  databases (oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL), email systems, and proxy software (Apache, IIS) and application servers (Tomcat)
• You understand what it takes to deliver a beautiful quality product and have strong opinions on how to get the job done.
• You have hands on experience with installing, upgrading, the maintenance and configuration of atlassian based environments
• You are communicative, assertive and analytic.

Environment

• Platforms: Linux, Windows, Virtualization, VMWare, Cloud Computing, Mobile
