Job Description
As an Atlassian Systems Engineer you will be responsible for
- Assisting our release management consultants to deliver the technical implementation of customer configurations
- The installation, maintenance and integration of complex Atlassian based infrastructure
Your day-to-day job consists of a wide range of activities such as
- Deployment and upgrade of Operating and Database systems
- Configuration of firewalls, reverse proxies
- Upgrade of the Atlassian environments
- Performance issue analysis and resolutions
Desired Skills and Experience
- System engineering skills around various OS’s, mainly Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Redhat), Windows,
databases (oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL), email systems, and proxy software (Apache, IIS) and application servers (Tomcat) - You understand what it takes to deliver a beautiful quality product and have strong opinions on how to get the job done.
- You have hands on experience with installing, upgrading, the maintenance and configuration of atlassian based environments
- You are communicative, assertive and analytic.
